Fred Berg Awards (All/Award/Prize)

Purpose: To promote educational audiology. Focus: Speech and language pathology/audiology Qualif.: Its not

required that the nominee be a member of EAA. Criteria: Awards will be given based on committee's criteria. The Nominations and Awards Committee reviews the nominations and makes recommendations to the EAA Executive Committee for approval.

Funds Avail.: No specific amount. Number Awarded: Varies. To Apply: Nominator must submit a letter of nomination stating the nominee's specific qualifications for the award; two additional letters of support for the nominee; and the nominee's vitae.

Educational Audiology Association Doctoral Scholarships (Doctorate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To promote the educational audiology. Focus: Speech and language pathology/audiology. Qualif.: Applicant must be a member of EAA; practicing as an educational audiologists; Be matriculated in an official doctoral program. Criteria: Recipient is awarded based on committee's review of their application.

Funds Avail.: $500. Number Awarded: One. To Apply: Applicants must submit all supporting documentation. Deadline: Rolling submissions will be accepted all year.

Noel D. Matkin Awards (Undergraduate/Award/Prize)

Purpose: To promote educational audiology. Focus: Speech and language pathology/audiology. Qualif.: Applicant must be a member of EAA. Criteria: Award will be given practitioner students.

Funds Avail.: Number Awarded: Varies. To Apply: Members are encouraged to submit proposals for these awards. The proposals should be typed, double spaced, and should include the requested information on the pdf rule. The proposals should include section headings in your proposal and number pages.
