Adults Students in Scholastic Transition (ASIST) (All/Scholarship)
Purpose: To provide financial support to adult students in a variety of transitional situations. To enable recipients to
improve their self-esteem and to have a positive impact on the recipient's personal life, employment, family, and community. Focus: General studies. Qualif.: Applicants must be 18 years old and above; must have clearly defined career goals and objectives; must be residing in boundaries of the EWI Chapter to which application is submitted. Criteria: Applicants will be selected based on: financial need; socially, physically and economically challenged adults; responsibility for small children.
Funds Avail.: $2,500. Number Awarded: 12. To Apply: Applicants must submit a completed application form available at the website; a copy of recent federal or state tax return and W-2 Form; an official transcript of grades or ACT scores; two letters of recommendation.
Executive Women International Fellows Program (Graduate/Fellowship)
Purpose: To provide financial assistance to EWI members admitted to an accredited baccalaureate, graduate or post graduate programs. Focus: General studies. Qualif.: Applicant must be an active EWI member for three or more consecutive years; have participated in Chapter activities; have a minimum of five full-time work experience; have demonstrated financial need. Criteria: Recipients will be selected based on the selection committee's review of the application materials.
Funds Avail.: $1,000 for Undergraduate Awards; $2,000 for Graduate/Post Graduate Awards; $5,000 for Deborah A. Taylor Scholarship. Number Awarded: 9. To Apply: Applicants must submit a completed application form; record of participation and accomplishments; two letters of recommendations; resume form/media release; income/financial form; enrollment verification; college transcript (original transcript with the seal of the school, delivered by the school in a sealed envelope); a non-refundable application fee of $25. Deadline: April 30.
Remarks: The Deborah A. Taylor Scholarship is awarded to the applicant with the highest point in the undergraduate category.
Executive Women International Scholarship Program (EWISP) (High School/Scholarship)
Purpose: To financially help qualified applicants to achieve their academic goals. Focus: General studies. Qualif.: Applicant must be a high school junior expecting to graduate from high school; and pursuing a degree in an accredited post-secondary institution. Criteria: Applicants will be selected based on character, personal merit and background.
Funds Avail.: $10,000. To Apply: Applicants must submit a completed application form available at the website; two letters of recommendation (use the Personal Recommendation Form) and official transcript of grades. Applications are to be submitted to the EWI chapter near the applicant's residency.
