Barbri Scholarships for Bar Preparation (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To help increase excellence among individuals pursuing careers in the legal field. Focus: Law. Qualif.: Program is open to post-graduation law students that secure legal or related employment with a government agency, a non-profit organization, or public interest agency intending to apply in a BARBRI preparation course. Criteria: Scholarship is given based on merit.

Funds Avail.: $500-$1,000. To Apply: Applicants may download application form at HLAI website. Complete and submit the application form (including the two short essays about the applicant’s commitment to public interest law and to serving the legal and social needs of the Hispanic community). Applicants must also provide a copy of law school transcript. Deadline: April 7. Qualif.: Program is open to law students in need of a summer stipend and have secured legal or related employment with a government agency, a non-profit organization, or public interest agency. Criteria: Recipients will be selected based on a review of all application materials submitted.

Complete and submit the application form (including the submission of two short essays about your commitment to public interest law and to serving the legal and social needs of the Hispanic community).
