Dr. Elemer and Eva Kiss Scholarships Fund (Undergraduate/Scholarship)
Purpose: To provide partial annual scholarships for Hungarian students who will be admitted at any U.S. college or university. Focus: General studies. Qualif.: Applicant must be a citizen of Hungary or a member of an ethnic Hungarian community in Slovakia, Romania, Voivo-dina, Serbia, or Ukraine; must have gained admission as a full-time student to a U.S. college or university. Criteria: Preference will be given to deserving students.
Funds Avail.: $1,000. Number Awarded: 2-4. To Apply: Applicants must provide proof of scholarship and other sources of financial support; record of excellent academic
standing; and two letters of recommendation regarding the applicant’s personal and academic achievements.
Remarks: Scholarship recipients are asked to provide a copy of their registration form and are expected to keep the Coalition informed of their academic progress. Contact: Hungarian American Coalition at the above address (see entry 3628).
