Description:

Independent United Methodist, comprehensive, coed. Awards bachelor's and master's degrees. Founded 1890. Setting: 100-acre urban campus. Endowment: $86.1 million. Educational spending 2003-04: $8845 per student. Total enrollment: 1,146. Faculty: 97 (92 full-time, 5 part-time). Student-undergrad faculty ratio is 12:1. 1,007 applied, 85% were admitted. 35% from top 10% of their high school class, 69% from top quarter, 92% from top half. Full-time: 1,053 students, 52% women, 48% men. Part-time: 33 students, 61% women, 39% men. Costs Per Year:

Application fee: $25. Comprehensive fee: $28,256 includes full-time tuition ($19,490), mandatory fees ($1200), and college room and board ($7566). College room only: $4248. Room and board charges vary according to housing facility. Part-time tuition: $604 per credit hour. Part-time mandatory fees: $30 per credit hour. Collegiate Environment:
