Minnesota School of Business–Brooklyn Center was founded in 1989. It is accredited by Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools. It first offered distance learning courses in 2001. In fall 2004, there were 276 students enrolled in distance learning courses. Institutionally administered financial aid is available to distance learners.
