MPAEA Memorial Scholarships (Graduate/Scholarship)
Purpose: To provide financial assistance for students' tuition, books and school-related expenses. Focus: Adult education. Qualif.: Applicant must be a student enrolled in a graduate degree program in an MPAEA member state; must be pursuing a graduate degree in adult education or closely related field; or a graduate student who has not previously received the scholarship. Criteria: Applicants will be evaluated based on financial need.
Funds Avail.: $1,000. To Apply: Applicants must review the criteria for eligibility before applying for the scholarship. They are advised to contact state MPAEA Board member for a copy of the application or download it from the MPAEA website: www.mpaea.org. Deadline: February 15. MPAEA Professional Development Scholarships (All/Scholarship)
Purpose: To provide financial assistance for an individual from each member state of the Mountain Plains Adult Education Association to be used in attending conferences or other staff development activities during the MPAEA year. Focus: Adult education. Qualif.: Applicant must be a current member of MPAEA. Criteria: Applicants will be evaluated by the MPAEA Professional Development Committee based on financial need.

MPAEA State Association Professional Development Grants (Other/Grant)
Purpose: To encourage and support professional development activities designed to benefit the members of the state association. Focus: Adult education. Qualif.: Applicant must be a state and its association which must have current membership in MPAEA. Criteria: Recipient will be selected by the Grant Selection Committee.
Funds Avail.: $500. To Apply: Applicants must contact the state MPAEA Board members for a copy of the application or download it from the web. They must complete the application with all applicable and required information and documentation and also complete a two-page report on the activity. MPAEA Student Scholarships (Other/Scholarship)
Purpose: To provide financial assistance for students who are going to attend conferences or to engage in other student leadership activities during the year which runs from the beginning of the MPAEA Annual Conference, through the MPAEA Annual Conference of the following year. Focus: Adult education. Qualif.: Applicant must be from a state organization that has paid its affiliate dues for the current year. Criteria: Applicant will be evaluated by the MPAEA Student Scholarship Selection Committee.
