Description:

State-supported, 2-year, coed. Part of Mississippi State Board for Community and Junior Colleges. Awards certificates, transfer associate, and terminal associate degrees. Founded 1948. Setting: 100-acre small town campus. Total enrollment: 3,224. Full-time: 2,777 students, 58% women, 42% men. Part-time: 447 students, 63% women, 37% men. Students come from 18 states and territories, 0.4% Native American, 0.4% Hispanic, 18% black, 0.4% Asian American or Pacific Islander, 0% international, 20% 25 or older, 25% live on campus. Core.
