Grant H. Flint International Scholarships - Category I (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To promote education and professional development by providing financial aid. Focus: General Studies. Qualif.: Applicants must be sons, daughters, grandsons or granddaughters of members (sponsors) and in good standing at the time of recommendation, selection and award; graduating high school seniors or graduate equivalent certified candidates who have been accepted for enrollment in a junior college, a four-year college, or a university (any program). Criteria: Awards are given based on academic achievement, participation in community activities, extracurricular activities and quality of written discussion.

Grant H. Flint International Scholarships - Category II (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To promote education and professional development by providing financial aid. Focus: Environmental Science; Engineering. Qualif.: Applicants can be SWANA student members who are currently enrolled full-time students and/or entering their junior or senior undergraduate year; must be pursuing a degree in environmental science, engineering, or other suitable major related to solid waste management. Criteria: Awards are given to the applicants with the highest ranking on combined academic achievement (30%), volunteer activities (20%) and relation of studies to solid waste management (50%).
