Independent, 4-year, coed, affiliated with Assemblies of God. Awards bachelor's degrees. Founded 1935. Setting: 62-acre suburban campus with easy access to Tampa and Orlando. Endowment: $1.8 million. Total enrollment: 1,964. Student-undergrad faculty ratio is 21:1. 509 applied, 86% were admitted. Students come from 44 states and territories, 40% from out-of-state, 0.4% Native American, 11% Hispanic, 6% black, 2% Asian American or Pacific Islander, 0.4% international, 10% 25 or older, 60% live on campus. Collegiate Environment:

Freshmen guaranteed college housing. On-campus residence required through senior year. Options: men-only, women-only housing available. Steelman Library plus 3 others with 96,000 books, 490 serials, and an OPAC. 40 computers available on campus for general student use. A campuswide network can be accessed from student residence rooms and from off campus. Staffed computer lab on campus.
