Mary Ghezzi Nursing Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To provide financial support for qualified students intending to pursue their nursing education. Focus: Nursing. Qualif.: Applicants must be enrolled in Tahana Valley Campus; must be students who want to pursue their career in Nursing. Criteria: Applicants will be selected based on their application requirements.

Funds Avail.: $2,000. To Apply: Applicants are advised to contact Allied Health at 455-2822 for further information about the scholarship application.

Stacy Kaiser Memorial Funds (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To provide support for deserving students intending to pursue their careers in radiologic technology. Focus: Radiology. Qualif.: Applicants must be residents of Alaska; must be in the second year of program in radiologic technology. Criteria: Applicants will be selected based on their application requirements.

Funds Avail.: $1,000. To Apply: Scholarship applications are available online and must be completed and sent to: uaonline.alaska.edu (to access the scholarship application, applicant must choose to “Login to secured area “if they have a UA ID or apply for admission for the new students).

William C. Leary Memorial Emergency Services Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To encourage students to pursue their career in emergency service program. Focus: Emergency and disaster services. Qualif.: Applicants must be students enrolled in emergency service program. Criteria: Selection of applicants will be based on the decision of the scholarship committee.

Ruth Lister Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To provide financial support for deserving individuals intending to pursue their educational goals. Focus: General studies. Qualif.: Applicants must be residents of Alaska; must be enrolled in a vocational program. Criteria: Preference will be given to Alaska residents and students enrolled in vocational programs.

Rachael Patterson Memorial Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To provide educational support for qualified students intending to pursue their education. Focus: Technology, Criminal justice, Fires and fire prevention. Qualif.: Applicants must be sophomores or above; must be enrolled in justice, fire science or office management and technology; must be residents of Alaska (at least two years) and are intending to remain in Alaska. Criteria: Preference will be given to residents of Alaska. Funds Avail.: No specific amount. Schaible Health Care Services Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To assist students in the health care services field at Tahana Valley Campus and/or Kuskokwim Campus within the college of Rural and Community Development at UAF. Focus: Health care services. Qualif.: Applicants must be attending at Kuskokwom Campus or Tahana Valley Campus; must be enrolled in health care service. Criteria: Selection of applicants will be based on their application requirements.

Anna Doris Southall Nursing Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To provide support for deserving students intending to pursue their degree in pre-medicine or nursing. Focus: Nursing. Qualif.: Applicants must be second year students enrolled in a pre-medicine or nursing program. Criteria: Selection of recipients will be based on the application and eligibility requirements.

Tanana Valley Campus Culinary Arts Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To provide support for deserving students intending to pursue their study in culinary arts. Focus: Culinary arts. Qualif.: Applicants must be students intending to pursue a career in culinary arts in Alaska. Criteria: Applicants will be selected based on their application requirements.
