TAC Foundation-3M Canada Company (Postgraduate, Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To recognize the importance of education in the transportation field. Focus: Transportation. Qualif.: Applicants must be Canadian citizens or landed immigrants. Criteria: Preference will be given to candidates with relevant work experience.

Funds Avail.: $5,000. To Apply: Applicant must complete the application form available online; must provide academic references and relevant employment information; must have an electronic version of their transcript of record. Application form and requirements must be sent to the TAC Foundation. Deadline: March 3.

TAC Foundation-Albert M. Stevens Scholarships (Postgraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To support the students in Canada pursuing postgraduate studies in transportation. Focus: Transportation. Qualif.: Applicants must be admissible to a postgraduate studies program or already registered as full-time graduate students; must be studying in the field of transportation and meet the conditions which apply to the scholarships; must be in the top quarter of their class in addition to having a minimum GPA of B. Criteria: Selection of applicants will be based on academic standing and application requirements.

Purpose: To encourage engineering students to focus on the vital aspects of Canada's landscape. Focus: Civil engineering; Transportation. Qualif.: Applicant must be entering third or fourth year studies; must intend to pursue a career in some aspect of the transportation field and meet the conditions of the scholarships; must have achieved an overall B level or equivalent average mark in their previous academic year. Criteria: Preference will be given to candidates with relevant work experience.

Purpose: To provide support and encouragement to those interested in pursuing a career in transportation planning or transportation engineering. Focus: Transportation. Qualif.: Applicant must be entering third or fourth year studies; must intend to pursue a career in some aspect of the transportation field and meet the conditions of the scholarships; must have achieved an overall B level or equivalent average mark in their previous academic year. Criteria: Preference will be given to candidates with relevant work experience.

TAC Foundation-EBA Engineering Consultants Ltd. Scholarships (Postgraduate, Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To provide scholarship to graduate and postgraduate students who are doing research in transportation infrastructure and systems. Focus: Transportation. Qualif.: Applicants must be Canadian citizens or landed immigrants. Criteria: Preference is given for research in the areas of design, construction, maintenance and operation of roadway transportation systems in rural and urban environments.

Purpose: To provide scholarship to the individuals working towards a career in the transportation industry as engineers, planners, program mangers or other technical specialties. Criteria: Preference will be given to candidates with relevant work experience.

Purpose: To provide financial support to students pursuing postgraduate studies in transportation. Focus: Transportation. Qualif.: Applicants must be admissible to a postgraduate studies program or already be registered as full-time graduate students; must be studying in the field of transportation and meet the conditions which apply to the scholarships; must be in the top quarter of their class in addition to having a minimum GPA of B. Criteria: Preference will be given to qualified candidates pursuing their work in the pavement field.
