Inez Demonet Scholarships (Graduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To support students with promising contributions to the profession of medical illustration. Focus: Visual arts. Qualif.: Applicant must be a second year student in a graduate program in medical illustration accredited by the Association of Medical Illustrators. Criteria: Applicants are evaluated based on academic performance, quality of artwork and references, and evidence of accomplishments.

Funds Avail.: $2,000. To Apply: Application forms are available at the website. Applicants must prepare a resume (1 page); transcripts; references; portfolio of five portfolio pieces; and an essay. Vesalius Trust Student Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To support students enrolled in medical illustration programs. Focus: Visual arts. Qualif.: Applicants must be enrolled in a medical illustration program and must have completed one year of the curriculum. Criteria: Applicants are judged based on background, education and project concept, design and production plan.

Funds Avail.: No specific amount. To Apply: Applicants must submit an application form; a resume; graduate project description; budget and timeline; transcripts; preceptor form and faculty advisor form. Deadline: November 9.
