McNeil Dissertation Fellowships (All/Fellowship)

Purpose: To provide financial assistance to humanities students who wish to pursue advanced research. Focus: Humanities. Qualif.: Applicants must be U.S. citizens or residents for three years prior to the application. Criteria: Recipients are selected based on the significance of the research.

Funds Avail.: $7,000. To Apply: Applicants must submit the application cover sheet; prepare an application essay of no more than 1500 words that opens with a concise overview of the project; a copy of the curriculum vitae; and two letters of reference addressing the previous scholarly record and current project. Applicants must mail six copies of the completed application package.
