Born June 22 (some sources cite June 23), 1955. Education: Attended City College of the City University of New York; trained at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, the Neighborhood Playhouse School of the Theatre, and School of the Performing Arts, all New York City; attended film school.
Career: Director and writer. Columbia University, instructor in film; Independent Features Project, member of the board of directors. Worked as a dancer and stage actress.
Member: Directors Guild of America.
