Born 1955, in Chicago, IL; raised in Southern California; married Denise (an animator); children: Emilie. Education: Studied music and art at California State University, Northridge.

Career:

Producer and director. Walt Disney Feature Animation, executive vice president for creative development. Worked as an orchestral percussionist; also performed with the Los Angeles Junior Philharmonic as a high school student. Participated in panel discussions.
