Original name, Martin Ingerman; born March 9, 1936, in Brooklyn, NY; son of Jacob and Minnie (maiden name, Crown) Ingerman; married Jean Marie Frassinelli, August 3, 1960 (divorced, 1969); married Shirley Jones (an actress and singer), 1977; children: (stepchildren) Shaun (a producer, writer, and actor), Ryan (a set dresser), Patrick (an actor).

Career:

Actor, comedian, theatrical agent, and executive. Television and motion picture producer; Ingels, Inc., founder, 1975; Stoneypoint Productions, founder, 1981; appeared in Rx for Abuse, an elder abuse video; active in various charities; Edelweiss Chocolates, Beverly Hills, CA, co–owner, 1997–2002. Military service: U.S. Army, 1954–58.
