Finn Mac Cumhail
Finn Mac Cumhail (Finn MacCool or Fingal) (active 2nd or 3rd century ad) Semi-mythical Irish leader of a group of soldiers known as the Fianna. Their exploits were recorded in many poems, including those in the 12th-century Book of Leinster and others said to have been written by his son, Ossian.
