weber (symbol Wb) SI unit of magnetic flux (the strength and extent of a magnetic field). In a circuit of one turn, one weber produces an electromotive force (emf) of one volt as it is reduced to zero in one second. It is named after the German physicist Wilhelm Weber (1804–91).
