FITR (iftar)

Arabic word meaning breaking the fast. It refers to the meal eaten after sunset each evening during the month of Ramadan. Ramadan concludes with the Feast of Fastbreaking ( ʿId al-Fitr or al-ʿId al-Saghir, the Little Feast).
