SHELI PARTY (Shelli)
Israeli political party, founded in 1977 by retired general Matti Peled. Considered to be of the extreme left, the SHELI advocated a peace dialogue with the Palestinians. In the 1977 elections, the group won two seats in the Knesset. The party disbanded before the 1984 elections.
