Arias Montanus, Benedictus
Benedictus Arias Montanus (bĕnədĬk´təs ā´rēəs mŏntā´nəs), or Benito Arias Montano (bānē´tō ä´ryäs mōntä´nō), 1527–98, Spanish Benedictine monk, editor of the Antwerp Polyglot Bible. He attended the Council of Trent (1562).
