Sahiwal
Sahiwal (sä´hĬväl), city (1998 pop. 207,388), E central Pakistan, on the Lower Bari Doab Canal. It is a district administrative headquarters, connected by road and rail to Lahore, and a market for food grains and cotton. Two colleges affiliated with the Univ. of the Punjab are in Sahiwal.
