Dakṣinācāra (Skt., ‘night hand’ + ‘custom’). Tantric Hinduism of the pure kind, hence ‘right-handed Tantra’, as opposed to vāmācāra, or ‘left-handed Tantra’—the left hand being the one with which impure acts are undertaken.
