Five evil passions. In Sikh teaching, passions which typify the manmukh (wayward individual) whose man is prey to haumai (egoism). They result in suffering and rebirth. They are kām (lust), krodh (anger), lobh (covetousness), moh (attachment to worldly things), and haṅkār (pride).
