JUDAS °, Christian writer, probably at the beginning of the third century c.e., author of a work (not extant) on the "seventy weeks" prophecy in Daniel (9:24ff.). Influenced by the persecution of the Christians, he predicted the imminent coming of the Antichrist. He is mentioned in Eusebius (Historia Ecclesiastica 6:7).
