SOBOTKA, HARRY HERMAN
SOBOTKA, HARRY HERMAN (1899–1965), U.S. biochemist. Born in Vienna, Sobotka joined Rockefeller Institute for Medical Research, New York (1924), and Bellevue Hospital Medical College, New York University (1926). He was appointed director of the chemical department, Mount Sinai Hospital, New York (1928). He wrote papers on chemistry of steroids and other organic chemicals of pharmaceutical significance.
