TISCHLER, MAX
TISCHLER, MAX (1906–1989), U.S. industrial research chemist. Tischler was born in Boston. In 1957 he became president of a group of research laboratories. He contributed many papers in the fields of pharmaceuticals and chemical processes. In 1960 he edited the Organic Syntheses. He received many medals and awards including the award of the Swedish Royal Academy of Science.
