Atrichornithidae
Atrichornithidae (scrub-birds; class Aves, order Passeriformes) A family of small, brown birds that have short, round wings and long, graduated tails. They have powerful voices, especially Atrichornis clamosus (noisy scrub-bird). They are insectivorous, strongly territorial, and are found only in the dense undergrowth of two isolated areas of coastal Australia. There is one genus, with two species.
