Buddenbrockia plumatellae An animal of uncertain affinities, described by O. Schröder in 1910, but not reported since. A parasite of Bryozoa, it is 3.6 mm long, unciliated, poorly worm-like, and has no gut or nerves, but the presence of true muscle fibres indicates it does not belong to the Mesozoa, with which it might otherwise be classified.
