Dryobalanops (family Dipterocarpaceae) A genus of lofty, resinous trees which yield the valuable timber kapur. D. aromatica also produces Borneo camphor, crystalline in the wood. There are 7 species, occurring in Sumatra, Malaya, and Borneo.
