Gracillariidae

Gracillariidae (subclass Pterygota, order Lepidoptera) Widespread family of very small moths, with narrow, strongly fringed, colourful wings. At rest the anterior part of the body is generally raised. Larvae are leaf-miners for all or part of their lives. Pupation occurs within the mine or in a chamber formed when the larva rolls the edge of the leaf.
