lystric fault
lystric fault (listric fault) A curved extensional fault which characteristically flattens at depth into a décollement horizon. The hanging wall rotates down along the concave-up fault surface, in some cases forming a rollover anticlinal structure. Lystric faults are commonly found in extensional regimes (see EXTENSION).
