Pterygotus deepkillensis One of the eurypterids, a rather rare group of fossil Arthropoda that includes the largest known fossil arthropods, some individuals growing to 3 m in length. P. deepkillensis is one of the earliest and is known from the Lower Ordovician of N. America.
