Tremella (order Tremellales) A large genus of fungi, in which the fruit body is gelatinous (or absent in some parasitic species) and is typically convoluted or cushion-like. Most species are saprotrophic, for example, on wood, but some are parasitic on the fruit bodies of other fungi.
