American silent-screen actress. Name variations: Catherine Adams. Born Ethalinda Colson, May 25, 1893, in St. Louis, Missouri; died Feb 17, 1959, in Hollywood, California.

Appeared in early one- and two-reel films for the Thanhouser Company; starred in De Mille's The Squaw Man (1914); other films include Riders of the Purple Sage, Little Brother of the Rich, and Brute Breaker.
