Campbell, Jeannette (1916–2003)

Argentinean swimmer. Born Mar 1916 in Argentina; died Jan 15, 2003; children: Ines, Susie and Roberto.

At Berlin Olympics, won a silver medal in 100-meter freestyle (1936); won the 100-meter freestyle in Brazil (1935), Uruguay (1937), Peru (1938), and Ecuador (1939); was one of the greatest swimmers in South American history.
