Chen Jingrong (1917–1989)

Chinese poet and translator. Born 1917 in Leshan, China; died 1989.

Translated works by Hans Christian Andersen, Victor Hugo, Rainer Maria Rilke, and Charles Baudelaire; associated with Jiuye poets and the writers' united front against the Japanese invasion; served as editor of Shijie Wenxue.
