Bahamian runner. Name variations: Pauline Elaine Davis. Born Pauline Elaine Davis, July 9, 1966, in the Bahamas; University of Alabama, BA, 1989; m. Mark Thompson (hurdler).
Known as one of the "Golden Girls," won a silver medal for 4 × 100-meter relay at Atlanta Olympics (1996); won a gold medal for 4 × 100-meter relay and a silver medal for 200 meters at Sydney Olympics (2000); won a gold medal for 4 × 100-meter relay at World championships (1999); retired (2000). Given the Silver Jubilee Award (1998) and the Bahamas Order of Merit (2000); won Charley Major Award; inducted into Caribbean Hall of Fame.
