Arthur Fadden (prime minister of Australia for 40 days in 1941 and acting prime minister for periods totaling 2 years), Dec 27, 1916; children: Gordon (b. 1922), John, Mavis, and Betty Fadden.
Active in state and local political organizations, was also a renowned campaign worker in husband's 9 federal elections.
