Fernandez, Mrs. E.L. (1852–1909)

American theatrical agent. Born 1852 (nee Price); died 1909; m. E(scamillo) L. Fernandez; children: Bijou Fernandez (1877–1961, actress) and probably E.L. Fernandez (1879–1952, actor).

Play-broker and agent, "known to every actor who ever sought an engagement in New York," read her obit in the New York Times (Dec 22, 1909); was also vice-president of the Professional Women's League.
