Chinese diver. Born Oct 15, 1981, in Hebei, China; attended Beijing University.
Won 3-meter springboard at Asian Games (1998); won FINA Grand Prix Superfinal for 3-meter springboard (1999); won silver medals for 3-meter springboard and synchronized 3-meter springboard at Sydney Olympics (2000); won FINA Grand Prix Superfinal (2000, 2001), for 3-meter springboard; won World championships for 3-meter springboard and 3-meter synchronized springboard (2001 and 2003); won a gold medal for 3-meter springboard and a gold medal for 3-meter synchronized springboard at Athens Olympics (2004).
