American screen actress. Born May 1, 1905, in New York, NY; died Dec 4, 1977, in Bel-Air, California; dau. of John Hyams (actor) and Leila McIntyre (1882–1953, actress); m. Phil Berg (agent), 1927.
As a blonde ingenue, appeared in 34 films (1924–36), including Dancing Mothers, Alias Jimmy Valentine, Hurricane, The Big House, The Bishop Murder Case, The 13th Chair, Island of Lost Souls, Freaks, Phantom of Paris, The Big Broadcast, Red-Headed Woman, Ruggles of Red Gap and People Will Talk.
