American modern dancer. Name variations: Letitia Ide Ratner. Born June 2, 1909, in Springfield, IL; died Aug 29, 1993, in Hastings On Hudson, NY; graduate of University of Chicago; trained at Humphrey-Weidman studio in NY; m. Victor M. Ratner.
With Humphrey-Weidman Concert Group, appeared in works by Doris Humphrey, including Water Study (1928), La Valse (1930) and New Dance (1935), and works by Charles Weidman, including Farandole (1932), Memorials (1935) and Petite Suite (1936); performed on Broadway in As Thousands Cheer (1932) and Candide (1933), among others; appeared in Limón's The Exiles (1950), The Visitation (1952) and The Queen's Epicedium (1952).
