American silent-film actress. Born Zena Virginia Keefe, June 26, 1896, in San Francisco, CA; died Nov 16, 1977, in Danvers, MA; m. William M. Brownell.
Worked at Vitagraph (1909–16); became a Selznick star; films include The Light that Failed, The Cross Roads, The Mill of the Gods, The Tigress, Piccadilly Jim, After Midnight and The Broken Violin; retired (1924).
