Li Huixin (1937–)

Chinese physician and short-story writer. Born 1937 in China.

Practised medicine but wrote throughout career; during Cultural Revolution (1966–76) traveled through rural north and southwest China with a medical team and based many stories on her experiences; most anthologized story is "The Old Maid" (1980).
