Under real name Florence Friend, made London debut as Zela in Hero and Leander (1892); as Mary Mannering, made US debut opposite James K. Hackett in The Courtship of Leonie (1896); starred in Trelawny of the Wells, The Lady of Lyons, Janice Meredith, The Walls of Jericho, Judith, The House of Cards and The Garden of Allah.
