Mihi-ki-te-Kapua (?–1872/80)
New Zealand tribal composer and poet. Born at Ruatahuna; died c. 1872–1880, at Te Whaiti-nui-a-Toi.
After her children had grown and her husband had died, composed songs about solitude and longing; was considered greatest composer of the Tuhoe and Mataatua.
