Mori Mari (1903–1987)

Japanese novelist and essayist. Born 1903 in Tokyo, Japan; died 1987; father was Mori Ogai (1862–1922, writer); sister of Mori Annu (later Kobori Annu, b. 1909).

Published essay collection, My Father's Hat (1957), which won the Japanese Essayist Club Prize; novels include The Forest for Lovers (1961) and The Room Filled with Sweet Honey (1975), which won the Tamura Tashika Prize.
