Australian field-hockey player. Name variations: Jackie Pereira. Born Jacqueline Margaret Pereira, Oct 29, 1964, in Willetton, Western Australia.
Was a member of the national team (1986–96); won team gold medals at Seoul Olympics (1988) and Atlanta Olympics (1996); was the 1st Australian woman to total 100 career goals; turned to coaching. Named to the World Eleven Team (1988, 1989); inducted into Australian Hall of Fame (1998) and received the Order of Australia Medal from Queen Elizabeth II.
